This move strengthens the emirate's ambitions to become a regional hub for advanced longevity sciences and medical nutrition. According to the announcement, the deal includes the establishment of a joint venture in Abu Dhabi between Mubadala and L-Nutra. The project aims to produce medical nutrition solutions and food therapies related to longevity, as well as provide advanced healthy nutrition technologies to markets in the Middle East. In addition to Mubadala, the funding round saw participation from Brentwood Associates, Moderna's CEO Stéphane Bancel, and the company 618 Ventures.
